Frick Golf Classic

The Westmoreland/Frick Hospital Foundation of Excela Health
hosted its 30th annual Golf Classic at Greensburg Country Club on Friday, September 17, 2021.

On behalf of the golf committee, we thank those who were able to join us in support of the Patient Care Fund at Excela Frick Hospital. Frick Hospital has been at the center of responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the healthcare needs of our community were not only defined by the pandemic this past year. Our professional and compassionate caregivers at Frick treated our friends, neighbors, and family members who had diagnostic testing, surgeries, cancer treatments and other specialized services in the Emergency Department and throughout the hospital. Thank you for helping us to continue to provide the equipment that our caregivers require to provide the most advanced treatment our patients deserve by supporting the Frick Golf Classic.

Black Tie for Hope

Thank you for being a loyal supporter of Black Tie for Hope. The Westmoreland/Frick Hospital Foundation and the entire Excela Health family are deeply grateful for your generosity. After careful consideration, the Black Tie for Hope Committee has decided that it is best to postpone celebrating in person until next March.

We look forward to gathering once again to share great entertainment, inspirational stories, delicious food, exciting games of chance and fabulous prizes. Until we meet in person, thank you for being a vital partner in the fight against cancer, right here in our community. See you in 2022!

RECEIVING a dreaded cancer diagnosis is traumatic, receiving a cancer diagnosis during a Pandemic is even more so. Worries about the availability of care and treatment as well as safety protocols weighed on the minds of so many of our family and friends who discovered they had cancer over the last year.

THROUGHOUT the Pandemic the dedicated and skilled providers at Excela Health continued to implement the highest level of cancer care through diagnosis, procedure and treatment. And, the Team created ways to communicate and serve patients while providing the highest level of safety.

TODAY, as we eclipse a year living under Pandemic restrictions, the expert care available to cancer patients at Excela Health has been a beacon of hope for so many. Although we are not able to honor in person the dedicated team of cancer care specialists and the bravery of those whom they serve, the need for support remains.

PLEASE consider supporting the cancer care services at Excela Health in lieu of our in-person event. The back of this page lists opportunities for support as well as some wonderful chances for prizes that our Committee has assembled for those able to help us this year. Donors will receive a written acknowledgement of their tax-deductible gift and will also be recognized in our online 2021 Black Tie for Hope digital program.

AT EXCELA HEALTH we consider ourselves a family, working together with our medical teams, our patients and their families, our donors and the community to improve the health and well-being of every life we touch. Thank You in advance for considering a 2021 "tax-deductible" gift to Black Tie for Hope.
