Individualized Treatment

Medication can play a role in controlling pain. For acute pain, it is often the first treatment choice. At the Advanced Pain Center, we treat both acute and chronic pain through a multifaceted approach that may include:

  • Exercise and lifestyle changes
  • Pain management therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Behavioral changes
  • Nerve blocks
  • Epidural injections
  • Implantable devices
  • Radiofrequency ablation

… along with medications when deemed necessary. Each of these methods or a combination may help you function better on the job, at home, and in the community; cope with pain more effectively, and reduce pain whenever possible.
