Excela Breaks Ground in Connellsville

With site-preparation continuing Friday on an Excela Square facility in Connellsville, health system officials conducted a groundbreaking event to celebrate the $14 million project.
In Phase 1, Excela Square at Connellsville will feature a one-floor, 18,000-square-foot structure. In a second phase, it can be expanded by 12,000 square feet, said Jeffrey A. Tiesi, health system chief operating officer.
The facility is scheduled to be operational next fall, “on time and on budget,” he said.
