Geneen Dashefsky, DO

Excela Health Medical Group Provider

Philosophy of Care

My interest in general Internal Medicine and in diagnosing and treating medical problems led me to choose this specialty. I work closely with patients and their families to develop a complete plan of care that encompasses both medical and social aspects. My emphasis is on preventative medicine; I also find establishing and maintaining good mental health for my patients to be of utmost importance to their overall health. ***

I would recommend my doctor to anyone that needs a good doctor. I have respect for my doctor and I wouldn't trade her even if I got my health care given to me for free.

I had a very good experience at my doctors appointment. We discussed my lab results and any questions I had. All went well.

She often seems non-committal in offering advice. She does not always ask probing questions that might help me understand what's "normal" or not in regard to some ongoing health concerns. It seems too easy to brush things off with: "Oh these things happen as we age." That's not an answer.
