Philosophy of Care
When we meet for the first time, I have two goals to accomplish. First, I want to reduce any anxiety you may be experiencing with regards to your visit. If possible, I will inform you right away if surgery is not yet necessary and give you a general plan up front. Second, I want to help you understand your vascular issues. I try to do this by avoiding "doctor-talk," drawing pictures, using models, and welcoming ALL of your questions. If I can achieve these goals, I am hopeful that I can also earn your trust as we work together to manage those vascular issues. I will be sympathetic to your experience, respectful of your opinions, and honest with my evaluation and recommendations. With the assistance of my exceptional office staff, ultrasound techs, and physician extenders, I will provide you with the highest quality of vascular care. ***
