The Excela Health Family Medicine Residency Program, established in 1974, was founded as a direct response to supply the families in our community with well-trained family physicians. We have residency practice sites in Latrobe, Greensburg, Norvelt, and Saltsburg, the latter two representing rural training sites. Our residents are placed into the same office for three years, co-managing their own panel of patients along with a faculty family physician.
