Welcome to the Latrobe Area Hospital Charitable Foundation

With a history of more than 20 years of assuring that Excela Health Latrobe Hospital reaches its goals, the Latrobe Area Hospital Charitable Foundation (LAHCF) continues its good works to fulfill its mission. Through the years, we have sought to reinforce financial stability of the hospital and foster the education of health care professionals at varied levels.  In short, the dawn of new ideas springs from careful reflection on what is best for the communities we serve.  One shining example of community support fostering the healthcare needs of the community was recognized at the opening of Excela Square at Latrobe.  Here, emeritus and founding LAHCF member Sandra Mellon was recognized for her contributions to this project and more.  Shown above from left at the opening:  Albert J. Novak, MPM, Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Excela Health Foundations; Sharon P. Smith, PhD, Chair, Excela Health Board of Trustees; Sandra Mellon, and Thomas P. Gessner, MD, Chair, LAHCF.

We invite you to peruse our pages and learn how you can help in the continuation of high quality health care provision for our communities.  For your generosity, we are most grateful.
