Excela Health Mall Walkers
at Westmoreland Mall, Greensburg
Excela Health and Westmoreland Mall have partnered to create the original INDOOR Mall Walkers Program. Now in its seventh year, walkers in this program meet the fourth Thursday of each month (except December), 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the Food Court, upper level, Westmoreland Mall, U.S. Route 30, Greensburg for:
- Continental breakfast
- Health screenings
- Door prize drawings
- Informational tables featuring our community partners including personal care homes, nursing homes, and others
- Educational, health-related presentation
And, of course, you’ll want to get walking throughout the mall after the fun and every day of the week for the maximum health benefit! A non-competitive walking program, “Mall Walkers” provides members with an array of activities and benefits, plus, it’s a great way to meet new friends and keep active!

Missed the November meeting? Here's What Happened!
We were pleased to have Patrick Martin, exercise physiologist, as our speaker for the month. Martin discussed the importance of the biometric screening and how it can alert you certain health issues that can be corrected by the appropriate exercise plan along with diet and other, potential lifestyle changes. We also awarded prizes to those among our walkers who achieved particular milestones over the course of 2018 and wish to congratulate them on their efforts. Finally, we applaud all of our mall walkers who attended our monthly sessions and did their best in pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.
We wish all a very happy, and healthy, holiday season and look forward to seeing you in January 2019.
This November, walkers received a recipe and an exercise challenge found here. See you next year!.
