Each year, our foundations hold fundraising events in which public participation is encouraged.
WESTMORELAND HOSPITAL FOUNDATION
Black Tie Bingo, held in March, boasts an evening of food, fun and festivity as attendees vie for bingo prizes. The evening begins with a reception and silent auction followed by dinner and bingo games. Sponsorship packages are available at various dollar levels. Individual and benefactor tickets are also available. Proceeds from the event benefit Excela Health Home Care and Hospice patient care and family support services.
Best of the Best Golf Classic offers an opportunity for amateur golfers as well as the area's most talented high school student golfers to showcase their talents and enjoy a day of golf while benefiting various Westmoreland Hospital projects. Held at Totteridge Golf Club, the two-day event features a student competition for scholarships awarded to the students’ schools along with the opportunity to play in the following day's golf classic.
The Westmoreland Hospital Memory Tree Light-up, now in its second year, offers the opportunity for all to honor or memorialize loved ones by purchasing lights for its holiday Memory Tree. A light-up ceremony held early in December brings together community and Excela Health family members for a moving ceremony of remembrance with all proceeds benefiting AED - Automated External Defibrillation - Funds at both Frick and Westmoreland Hospitals to provide these units in our hospitals and beyond.
FRICK HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

Frick Hospital Golf Classic is a fundraising golf event benefiting Frick Hospital programs, services and projects vital in caring for local residents. The golf event is a scramble format, followed by dinner and auction. Non-golfers are welcome to attend the dinner.
LATROBE AREA HOSPITAL CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
The foundation holds an annual golf outing in late summer that has garnered funding for a variety of projects including renovation of the Emergency Department and monies for scholarships.
An annual lecture co-sponsored with the Latrobe Area Hospital Aid Society and the Latrobe Business and Professional Women called the "Women's Health Series," focuses on health topics relevant to today's women.
