Services Offered at Our Sleep Center

We understand the critical role sleep plays in your overall health and well-being, which is why we offer thorough, multidisciplinary options for addressing sleep disorders. Every patient undergoes a thorough assessment to identify specific conditions affecting sleep, so the sleep specialist can create a treatment plan best tailored for your specific needs. Testing may include:

  • Full Polysomnogram (PSG): This is a detailed sleep study that records brain waves, oxygen levels in the blood, heart rate, breathing, and eye/leg movements.
  • CPAP/BiPAP Titration: This process determines the optimal pressure needed from a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) or BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) machine to alleviate obstructive sleep apnea.
  • Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT): An exam that measures how quickly a person falls asleep in a quiet environment during the day, used to diagnose narcolepsy and other forms of excessive daytime sleepiness.
  • Split Study: A diagnostic approach where the first half of the night is used for a standard sleep study, and if sleep apnea is diagnosed, the second half is used for CPAP titration.
  • Home Sleeping Test: A simplified sleep study conducted at the patient's home to diagnose obstructive sleep apnea by monitoring breathing patterns, oxygen levels, and other physiological parameters.
  • BiPAP AutoSV (Auto Servo Ventilation): A specialized BiPAP machine designed for individuals with complex sleep-related breathing disorders, automatically adjusting pressure to counteract apnea episodes.
  • EEG (Electroencephalogram) Testing: A non-invasive procedure that records electrical activity of the brain to help diagnose neurological disorders, including epilepsy, sleep disorders, and brain dysfunction.

Our sleep center is equipped with comfortable, private rooms designed to mimic a home-like environment for overnight studies. Common sleep disorders we are able to diagnose and treat include the following and more:

  • Sleep Apnea
  • Insomnia
  • Restless Legs Syndrome
  • Narcolepsy
  • Circadian Rhythm Disorders
