Pre-Driver’s Clinical Evaluation

Performed biweekly by a Barclay Rehabilitation occupational therapist at Excela Health’s Mountain View Medical Park. This evaluation objectively determines if a person can safely and responsibly operate a vehicle. In the driving simulation, a person is evaluated in several clinical areas, such as:

• Visual acuities
• Oculomotor skills
• Cognitive skills
• Visual perceptual skills
• Processing and reaction time
• Motor and coordination skills
