We're expecting you -- at our maternity center located within Westmoreland Hospital. Here, you'll find expert care, support and education as we continue the tradition of providing parents-to-be with a warm, caring environment coupled with state-of-the-art technology.
Your Maternity Care
Becoming a parent is a special time. That's why we've created a comfortable, family-friendly environment where you, and your spouse/support person, if desired, can experience the miracle of birth. Our ten, well appointed labor-delivery-recovery suites (LDRs) offer the comforts of home but are equipped with fetal monitors, break-away bed, and all the necessary equipment for the birth, hidden away until needed. We also offer:
- Newborn nursery
- Special Care Nursery
- Private, post-partum rooms with pull-out beds for dads
- Operating rooms located on the same floor for Cesarean sections
- Waiting rooms with flat screen television, coffee service, and a sibling play area
- Newborn photo service
- Tea Time for Moms, a complementary refreshment cart offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 2 to 3 p.m. for our new moms.
And, each time a baby is born, a lullaby is played over the hospital public address system to welcome your new addition to our world.
