The new $1.5 million robot-assisted surgical system at Excela Health is the most advanced technology available in all of western Pennsylvania, allowing Excela surgeons to perform the most complicated and difficult procedures. The system is often used in prostate surgery, gynecologic surgery (including hysterectomy and uterine fibroids), cancer surgery and several general surgery procedures.
