Philosophy of Care

As an Orthopedic Surgeon, my goal is to improve the quality of life of every patient I treat, whether they are to returning to high-level sports or simply being able to leave the house without the use of a cane or a walker. I was fortunate enough have received excellent orthopedic training, starting with five years learning under some of the best orthopedic surgeons in the country at Pitt during residency. My fellowship year in Sports Medicine and arthroscopy honed my skills in the surgical treatment of shoulder and knee injuries. Although I have extensive surgical training, the treatment I provide for my patients is no different from what I would want for my own children, wife, or parents. ***
