Our Charitable Foundations
Throughout Excela Health, three charitable foundations exist to benefit the needs of our hospitals and affiliated health care providers. They include the Westmoreland/Frick Hospital Foundation with its two branches - the Frick Hospital Foundation and the Westmoreland Hospital Foundation - and the Latrobe Area Hospital Charitable Foundation.
Each foundation accepts and allocates funds for the primary purpose of improving the health and well-being of our region. The foundations support our hospitals' programs and services and have distributed millions of dollars to enhance services and equipment through the generosity of area residents, businesses, community foundations, civic groups and others.

The foundations have a number of ways you can give...ways that will allow your gift to grow, to memorialize a deceased loved one, or to pay tribute to those close to you. We have also adopted methods of donor recognition appropriately matching the level of giving while respecting donors’ wishes.
